The Mold Fairy
A downloadable game

Once upon a time, there was a fairy for everything. One for frost, one for cobwebs, one for dew... and one for mold. When the fairy queen Titania decided that humans had lost their respect for mold, the mold fairy was sent down to teach them the power of the fuzzy fungi. Did the fairy brighten the humans' lives, or curse them with poisons and spoiled food? Only you can decide.
This is an early Flash game from Gregory Avery-Weir, released in 2009 and now available as a downloadable projector for the first time.
Click the world to move there. Click and hold on the fairy to spread mold. Use the map button to travel between locations. When you're done spreading your spores across the town, enter the portal above to return to the land of fairy and see the results of your actions.
If you donate at least $5, you can download full source code and resources for the game. If you're interested in the source for more than one game, check out my Flash Source Code Collection.
Please note: source code is provided without license or support. It might not compile at all, as it may be missing third-party resources.

Omg! I was looking for a playable download of this game since Flash no longer works on the Armor Games website or the main one. Anyways, this game was actually a childhood favorite of mine, and I just want to relive the nostalgia of it so I downloaded it on my Windows, but only to find that it doesn't work anymore. I assume the file also runs on Flash as well?
Is there a way to play this game again since Flash no longer exists sadly...
The EXE version should work, as it is wrapped in a projector. Are you getting any error messages? What does it look like when it doesn't work?
If this version isn't a good match for you, you can also play most Flash games via the Flashpoint archival project: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/
Well, it's not entirely an error message but a blank pop-up which has the Flash logo on the upper left side of the screen with the words: "Adobe Flash Player 32" on it, and below it were, 'File, View, Control, and Help'. I guess it's probably because I haven't installed a projector for it, so I suppose that's why it didn't work, though I'm honestly not completely sure.
Oh, and by the way I've downloaded the Flashpoint, and the game totally works works now! I can finally play the game again. Thank you so much for the link! :)
It's a bummer that the projector here doesn't work for you; it's supposed to be standalone and not require an additional install. But I'm glad that you were able to get it working via Flashpoint!
